The CRC 1294 offers short-term visiting fellowships for external doctoral candidates. These three- to six-month fellowships support collaborative research in areas such as data assimilation, applied mathematics, and machine learning, with applications in the life and earth sciences.

Fellowships include a monthly allowance and, where applicable, child support.
